Education & Training

Each education and training event is intentionally designed around the audience we serve—whether community members, students, educators, healthcare providers, faith leaders, or professionals across multiple sectors. Through customized seminars and presentations, we provide focused, trauma-informed education on human trafficking and exploitation within medical, educational, financial, faith-based, and community settings.

Our goal is not only awareness, but empowerment. Participants leave equipped to recognize risk, respond appropriately, and become active partners in prevention and protection within their own communities.

Attendees gain practical knowledge on:

  • Warning signs and appropriate response

  • Risk factors and effective prevention strategies

  • The impact of exploitation on survivors, grounded in science and lived experience

  • Current statistics, trends, and community response efforts

Together, we equip communities to identify, prevent, and disrupt exploitation—creating safer environments for children, youth, and families.

Student voices making a difference. Each year, Present Age Ministries, in partnership with the Cabarrus County Human Trafficking Task Force, Cabarrus County Schools, and Kannapolis City Schools, hosts an annual Human Trafficking PSA Competition with local high schools. Through creativity and courage, students raise awareness, challenge myths, and become leaders in prevention—helping protect their peers and strengthen our community. Together, we are building a generation equipped to recognize, prevent, and end exploitation.

Be A Part of the Solution

A community that is unaware is simply unable to provide solutions. One of the greatest tools we have is education. Do you have a group that would be willing to let us come and share? General Awareness can be 15, 20, 30 minutes in duration. We would love to come share at your book club, woman’s group, Rotary Club, etc.

Present Age also provides more in depth training (2, 3, 4 hours or longer). We would love to partner with you. Please reach out to use to schedule a call to discuss.
