Meet our Founder

Hannah Arrowood is the founder and Executive Director of Present Age Ministries.

She never dreamed of creating and running an international nonprofit committed to combating the sexual abuse, exploitation, and trafficking of teen girls. Her desire was obedience to God. After working and healing through her own trauma, she was on a mission to provide the same for young girls who desperately needed a lifeline.

Hannah's Roots

Hannah spent over 10 years of experience in corporate America, working at the big banks, corporate investment firms and an international distribution company. In 2009 she began to dream about more and walked away from her comfortable job on faith.

Hannah’s education background is in Business Administration, with emphasis in project management from George Washington School of Business. Hannah utilizes her experience to spear-head program development and evaluation of systems to establish collaborative approaches to better serve and protect our children.

In NC, Hannah serves as the President of the Charlotte Metro HT Task Force and is a member of the Cabarrus County Task Force and Regional Task Force, where she chairs the Minor Victims Sub-Committees. In addition, she sits on the Board of Directors of counter-trafficking agencies in Kenya and in Thailand.

Under her leadership, Present Age has received numerous awards for their outstanding work with survivors. Most recently, Hannah received an award for “Excellence in the Pursuit of Justice” by the US Attorney’s office for her dedication to advocating for survivors.
